Not medical advice
FitnessLoop and Maya are not licensed healthcare providers. The information, suggestions, and predictions provided are for general informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a licensed physician, registered dietitian, or certified fitness professional before starting any weight-loss program, changing your diet, or beginning a new exercise routine — especially if you have existing health conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medications.
Results vary
Individual results from using Maya will vary based on personal factors including but not limited to: starting weight, age, sex, metabolism, sleep, stress, hormonal status, medication, genetic predisposition, and consistency of use. Maya's predictions are statistical estimates based on logged data — not guarantees.
Not a treatment for eating disorders
Maya is a calorie and weight tracking tool. It is not designed or appropriate as a treatment, support, or intervention for any eating disorder including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, or any related condition. If you have a history of disordered eating or believe calorie tracking may trigger disordered behavior, please consult a qualified mental health professional before using FitnessLoop.
AI limitations
Maya is powered by AI models which may occasionally produce inaccurate calorie estimates, incorrect macro breakdowns, or imprecise predictions. Every log Maya makes is visible in the Maya's Memory tab and can be edited or deleted. Use Maya's outputs as an informed estimate, not as absolute truth.
